How do I start?
Join us for a complimentary class!
Select a class and date that interests you and "enroll" for that class online, or send an email to email@example.com.
-any other essentials to keep you and your baby happy (snacks, favorite toy, sound machine, etc.)
Always make sure you eat a healthy breakfast or light snack before coming to class - this is very important if you’re a nursing mother. In addition, you should consider bringing a post-class snack with you, especially if you plan to stick around after class for kiddo park play, or babies tummy time.
-STROLLER FORM & SHARING THE ROAD-
As you walk, lead with your chest tall and your shoulders pulled back and down. Your wrists should remain in neutral alignment and keep your hips close to your stroller. Always pull your bellybutton towards your spine, engaging your core to protect your back - This is important for all stages of motherhood!
SHARING THE ROAD:
We share the road with many walkers, runners, bicyclists, etc… Please keep to the right and pass on the left.
RESTLESS LITTLE ONE(S) & STAYING IN THE STROLLER
RESTLESS LITTLE ONE(S) - Our first priority is the happiness of your baby. Because we stop in regular intervals for body toning, you can always catch up with us if you fall behind. Our instructors will do their very best to make class enjoyable for both you and your baby.
STAYING IN THE STROLLER - We know your kids often want to get out of the stroller and join in the class but we really encourage you to keep your children in the stroller. Their safety is our biggest priority!
What do I do if my baby gets fussy during class?
Our first priority is the happiness of your baby. Tend to your baby first. We stop every few minutes for body toning and singing to the kiddos. You can always catch up with us if you get behind, or keep your feet moving as you tend to your child. Our instructors will do their very best to make the class enjoyable for both you and your baby!
What if the weather is bad?
We will only cancel classes in extreme weather conditions. Please call the phone number for your local class, 714-276-4372 or check our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/fit4momit/ for weather related announcements.
Class cancellations, or relocations will be announced at least 1 hour prior to class start time.
How old does my baby have to be?
We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 6 weeks of age to begin class. They can take classes up to any age so long as they still enjoy a ride in the stroller and can be safely buckled in. Always get your doctor's permission before starting this or any other kind of exercise program.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts are 1-hour unless otherwise noted. The class is set up with a 5-minute warm up followed by a 45-minute Power Walk/jog with the stroller that includes body toning stations using body weight, resistance tubes, exercise balls, or other provided equipment. The last 10 minutes is for abs and stretching.

What do I need to bring to class?
A yoga mat or towel to do your abs and cool down. A resistance band ( we will provide one for you on your first day of class), plenty of water, and a towel for your sweat. You WILL sweat!
What is the workout like?
Body Back has 3 formats: Rounds, Traveling and Circuit. Each is a High Intensity Interval Training class with a combination of Cardio, Strength and Core. This method (HIIT) is proven to yield the best results and the highest afterburn of calories.
Do I need to be in great shape to participate in class?
No. We have all fitness levels in our classes, but we will warn you; these classes are hard! Our goal is to deliver a workout that will challenge any fitness level. You might not be able to do every single thing your first class, but you will be able to by the end of your 8 week session!
